DAYTONA BEACH
RESTAURANTS

  • THE OCEAN DECK
    127 S Ocean Ave
    Daytona Beach
    386-253-5224

This is THE beach place, right next to the pier, right on the Atlantic Ocean. There are volleyball nets right out side and the proper attire is bathing suits! The best oysters in Daytona, but you can only get them steamed. Try all the seafood- crabs, clams, shrimp and the most amazing grilled Mahi-Mahi sandwich! Live music (usually Caribbean or Reggae) provides a night club atmosphere in the evening hours.

  • DOWN THE HATCH
    4894 Front St
    Ponce Inlet, Florida
    386-761-4831

This is an excellent restaurant, a bit more dressy, but still casual. Great atmosphere, and Alaskan King crab legs. Need I say more?

  • THE OYSTER PUB
    555 Seabreeze Blvd
    Daytona Beach
    386-255-6348

This place is a oyster bar/sports bar, rough around the edges, but a great hang nonetheless.

  • SWEETWATER'S
    3633 Halifax Dr.
    Port Orange, FL 32119
    386-761-6724

Great food and atmosphere, but always a bit busy- which shows how good it is!

  • AUNT CATFISH'S ON THE RIVER
    4009 Halifax Dr.
    Port Orange, FL 32127
    386-767-4768

Like it sounds, homestyle catfish and other fare in a homey atmosphere on the river. Fresh seafood, charbroiled steaks, prime rib, rotisserie chicken, fresh baked cinnamon buns, barrel of creamy slaw, salad bar and get your own cheese grits and baked beans from the old stove.

  • CHI-LING CHINESE RESTAURANT & SUSHI BAR
    4085 S. Ridgewood Ave.
    Port Orange, FL 32127
    386-788-9273

I know what you're thinking- another Chinese/Japanese mix of crap- but suprise, suprise- the sushi is excellent! Chinese food is good, too.

  • DAYTONA ALE HOUSE
    2610 West International Speedway Blvd
    Daytona Beach, FL
    904-255-1266

This loud and spacious sports bar is a blast to hang out with friends. Loads of TV's, sports memorabilia, a huge selection of beers, both bottle and draft, a varied menu with everything from finger foods to gourmet dinners make the Ale House the perfect spot for any occasion. Make sure you are hungry and with several friend before you order the Chicken Nachos!

  • BILLY'S TAP ROOM & GRILL
    58 East Granada Blvd.
    Ormond Beach, FL 32176
    386-672-1910

You will love the ambiance of the original solid maple bar and mahogany paneling. Much like the Oak Room at the Plaza in New York or an English neighborhood restaurant, which is simply alive with 1920 atmosphere and warm congeniality. Old photos, period art and sketches, along with memorabilia, are reminiscent of another time. Dining at Billy’s in Ormond Beach is a landmark experience. This historic restaurant, established by Billy and Elizabeth MacDonald in 1922, has the reputation as a place where good friends meet, dine, and enjoy the spirits of good times.

  • ANGUS BEEF BAR & GRILL
    530 Seabreeze Boulevard
    Daytona Beach, FL
    386-254-8300

Features great steaks and fine wines. House specialties include the 18 oz. Ribeye Filet AuPoiure, and the 22 oz. T-Bone.
