The Marienplatz is the main city square. Restaurants, shops and outdoor cafes are wall to wall. Make sure you stay and watch the clock do it's thing.

If you are a buff on World War II, this city has quite a large amount of history.
- BERCHTESGADEN
This is an incredibly beautiful place overlooking Salzburg, Austria. Hitler's chalet, known as the Teehaus, also as the Kehlsteinhaus, is perched atop the highest peak, the Kehlstein, giving an incredible view into the valleys as well as Hitlers life. It is not open in the winter, however.
