  • THE DICKENS INN
    2nd and Pine Streets
    Philadelphia, PA

As the name implies, this is a great old time inn restaurant/bar with traditional English cuisine. Separate pub has darts and plenty of English beers on tap, along with a large variety of other brews.

  • MONT SERRAT
    623 South St.
    Philadelphia, PA 19147
    (215)627-4224

Nice atmosphere, good food, right in the middle of the South Street district.

This review is from Mike Clement, Guitar Tech to Tony Iommi of Black Sabbath. Thanks, Mike!
  • TAJ MAHAL
    1903 Chestnut Street
    Philadelphia, PA
    (215)575-1199

Stop press! An Indian restaurant has been found in the US that will satisfy wingeing UK crew! Following a report from an extremely reliable source (Tony Iommi and his p.a. Eddy Naughton) the super critical team of Sid Pryce, Adey Wilson and Mike Clement found the Taj Mahal in downtown Philadelphia. There is no need to go into the usual foodie collection of adjectives; if you like curry in England, you'll like this place. The prices are cheap compared to most US curry houses. N.B.!!! The place doesn't have a liquor license, but you can bring your own. There is a deli 1 block away on 19th Street.
