SIGHTSEEING IN
ROME

  • THE COLISEUM
    If you can't find it...

Here it is, in all it's history and glory. Lions and the Christians-here's where it happened. It is in a constant state of repair and renovation. Quite incredible to just walk around inside and take in all of the history and the vibe. Pretty incredible!

  • THE ROMAN FORUM
About a 5 minute walk from the Coliseum

A haphazard conglomeration of ruins and freshly restored buildings. It is a wise idea to get a book that shows you how it used to look, so you can get a feel of the "old city." If you have time, scour the grounds, and go check out the "Circus Maximus" and it'll blow you away.

  • VATICAN CITY
Once again, every taxi can find it!

You've seen it on TV, but nothing will prepare you for the sheer size of St. Peter's Square-Incredible! The Cathedral is incredible as well, and try to get in on one of the tours, as the history and fact about St. Peter's is fascinating. The Sistine Chapel is a must, but go early, as it closes early and takes a good hour to see it in all it's glory.

  • THE SPANISH STEPS
    Taxi!!

This is a gathering place for all people, locals and tourists. There are literally dozens of restaurants, bars and shops packed into the surrounding area. This is the best place to end up in at the finish of the day, as you can find a good meal. and then just enjoy the ambience. At midnight, it's still rocking!

  • TREVI FOUNTAIN
    You guessed it...

It may or may not be the most beautiful fountain in Rome but it is without doubt the most famous. Legend says that if you toss a coin into the fountain over your shoulder, you will one day return to the eternal city.
